About three months ago upon the expiration of my AT&T contract, I began shopping for a new mobile phone. Given the nature my internet based business I determined I definitely wanted to upgrade to a device that could manage my email and calendar as well. I researched several models and while the decision was difficult between the Apple iPhone and the Blackberry Curve, the curve won out because of price. Amazingly I found the exact blackberry model and color I was looking for on sale at Amazon.com for only $0.01!
After the unit was delivered to me, I followed the simple instructions to activate and set up my phone. Activating the email accounts was slightly more difficult after I discovered the dedicated website the task again became easy. I was a little clumsy with the tracker ball at first, but after the initial few days I gotten used to it. I find the keys well positioned for typing and the speakerphone feature is an excellent bonus.
The major disappointment with this product with lack of a functional case or holder. The holder that is provided with the phone offers little functionality and provides little protection to the unit itself. Any person purchasing the Blackberry Curve should expect to purchase a caring case of some type to optimize their blackberry experience.
In Summary, the Blackberry Curve is a good product. As a high paced business person, the Blackberry Curve has simplified my life and allowed me to stay connected to my business while remaining flexible and not attached to a desk, office, or even computer.
